Toronto AGO

Toronto AGO Print, (Art Gallery of Ontario) Limited Edition Print 13″ x 19″ (329 x 483mm). Ed. 75. 160GSM paper Archival K3 Ink Signed and Numbered by artist Kurt Perschke.

When I was there Frank Gehry -a Toronto native- had just redesigned the museum, most noticeably the facade. 'AGO' is short for the Art Gallery of Ontario ( the contemporary art museum of Toronto). I loved this little spot where the new building almost hits this bus stop, the RedBall would have been perfect as part of the Luminato Festival. Alas the building was new, the art museum firmly unadventurous (as they sadly often are), so this print is the idea realized. The original collage this print is based on is actually two panels, double framed.
